Tristan stared at him wide-eyed before shaking his head a little. Then, a small smile tugged at Tristan's lips before transforming into a bright, beautiful smile, his aquamarine eyes shining with warmth, and Zach's breath caught in his throat. Tristan's smirk disappeared and he simply looked at Zach for a long moment. Maybe Tristan was an ass in book 3, I don't know, but that's always the problem with reoccurring characters.Once they piss you off, it's hard to start liking them again. He seemed like a self-centered little bitch in this one. It can be read as a stand-alone and after seeing Gabe in this one, I'm not sure I want to read his book. There is some Jared and Gabe from book 1, but it isn't necessary, to read it to understand the story. I would have liked Zach being the bottom for once, but just like in the first book, we get a bottom and a top. I really liked this book, it wasn't too long or too angsty.but I did feel sorry for Tristan on more than one occasion. When these two meet.they don't get along.at all. Zach is a well known physical therapist, and he's been hired by Jared, who is a close friend of his, to help Tristan with his recovery. His brother is in a relationship with the team's doctor (Jared) and he isn't out for the same reasons.

Being gay in the soccer world wouldn't do him any good. He has a groin injury and needs physical therapy, so he can start playing ball again. The story felt more complete and it had an epilogue.thank god. I'm very happy that I decided to read this one because I loved it !! I liked book 1, but this one was so much better. I just couldn't help myself because the blurb sounded really interesting and I'm known for reading books out of order ) I recently finished book 1 in this series (which I liked) and for some reason jumped straight into this one.book 4.
